Minder dan 10% van de Nederlandse bevolking heeft een EHBO-diploma en 42% geeft aan geen eerste hulp te kunnen verlenen vanwege een gebrek aan kennis. En dat terwijl juist die eerste minuten, voordat de ambulance arriveert, van cruciaal belang zijn om een leven te redden of letsel te beperken.
De Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging EHBO biedt daarom nu een applicatie aan die mogelijk levens kan redden en letsel kan beperken. Met deze applicatie kun je binnen enkele seconden zien hoe je moet handelen bij een hartaanval, verstikking of beroerte. Maar ook kleinere ongevallen zoals schaaf- en snijdwonden, splinters en kneuzingen zijn opgenomen.
Deze applicatie van de KNV EHBO helpt je onder andere:
• de ernst van letsel vaststellen in verschillende noodsituaties;
• op een correcte wijze eerste hulp handelingen verlenen;
• je locatie snel bepalen door middel van GPS;
• hulpdiensten inschakelen met één druk op de knop en
• veelvoorkomende kleine ongelukken behandelen.
Deze applicatie zal regelmatig worden aangevuld met relevante nieuwe onderdelen en functionaliteiten. Wij staan daarnaast echter open voor frisse, nieuwe ideeën.
