Produceert, importeert, distribueert of gebruikt u chemische stoffen?

(DGUV)

GESTIS – International limit values for chemical agents
This database contains a collection of occupational limit values for hazardous substances gathered from various EU member states, Canada (Québec), Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, and the United States as of August 2011.
Limit values of more than 1,300 substances are listed. Limit values defined by the various expert bodies and authorities differ in the criteria for their derivation, the level of protection which they offer, and their legal relevance.
The short-time values and dust fractions may for example be based upon different definitions. Comprehensive explanations can be found in the original lists of limit values, which should be referred to as primary sources. The purpose of this database is merely to provide an overview of the limit values in various countries.

WISER by National Library of Medicine

WISER (Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders) is a mobile application designed to assist first responders in hazardous material incidents.

WISER: Information from Authoritative Sources First responders in general, and HAZMAT units in particular, must make many decisions quickly in handling hazardous-materials incidents. They need accurate information about the hazardous substances, the emergency resources available, and the surrounding environmental conditions to save lives and minimize the impact on the environment and physical property.
The WISER application extracts content from TOXNET’s Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB), an authoritative, peer-reviewed information resource maintained by the National Library of Medicine, and places that information into the hands of those who need it most.

Features of WISER
* Rapid access to the most important information about a hazardous substance by an intelligent synopsis engine and display called “Key Info”
* Intuitive, simple, logical user interface developed by working with experienced first responders
* Comprehensive decision support, including guidance on immediate actions necessary to save lives and protect the environment
* Access to NLM’s Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB), which contains detailed peer-reviewed information on hazardous substances
* User Profiles enable users to specify the role they are currently playing at the scene of an incident: first responder, HAZMAT specialist, or EMS specialist. The key information presented to the user about a substance varies depending on this role, so that the information most relevant to the respective job can be quickly accessed.
* Radiological and biological substance support.
* Mobile support, providing first responders critical information where they need it, when they need it.

USW Safety van United Steelworkers

The USW Safety app is designed as an easy and accessible chemical safety reference for workers.
Search the New Jersey Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) database by chemical name, DOT number, CAS number, or RTK Substance number to view the entire fact sheet. This includes information on workplace exposure limits, health hazards, workplace controls, personal protective equipment, handling and storage, and emergency information.
Flip through an electronic version of the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards or search for a chemical by name in the index to view its properties, exposure limits, recommended personal protective equipment and first aid.
For workers who need more information, the final section of the app uses the locator feature to display contact information for the nearest United Steelworkers district office and the OSHA district office.
